Make space
to think.

Your personal work journal built for the agentic era.

We’re entering a world where AI agents write, organise, summarise and execute more of our work than ever before. As agents become more capable, the most valuable human skill isn’t producing more. It’s thinking better.

Wonder is a place for your thinking.

It captures your ideas, questions, intentions and reflections alongside the work happening across your life. Meetings, documents, messages and projects become context. Your thoughts become the missing layer AI can’t generate on its own.

Over time, Wonder becomes your long-term memory: a living record of how you think, what you’ve learned, what you’ve changed your mind about, and what matters to you.

The thesis

AI will remember everything you’ve done.

Wonder remembers what you’ve been thinking.

Why now?

We’ve outsourced execution to machines. We shouldn’t outsource judgment.

Wonder helps you slow down just enough to notice patterns, make better decisions and give your agents richer context than prompts ever could.

The future isn’t humans competing with AI. It’s humans with better memory, better context and better thinking.

Notes from Wonder

A few things worth
knowing today.

Wonder reads your intentions, goals and wishes, your calendar, your Granola notes and what you’ve written — and offers a few notes on the day ahead. An opening you might miss. A meeting worth preparing for. A question worth sitting with. Never more than five, and some days none.

  • Every note shows what it was drawn from
  • Write about it, make it an intention, or say it’s not for you
  • Turn any of it off in Settings

Ana raised “October meetup: one speaking slot left”, and it touches your wish to give a talk. Coffee at 11:00 is the moment to ask.

Moment

Last time Leo said “Come back with twenty people who can’t do without it”. Call with Leo is at 16:30.

Intention

There’s room before Standup with Jo at 09:30. A good moment for “No laptop before a walk”.

Before you start

What’s the one step toward “20 people using it every day” you’d regret not taking this week?

Answer on the pageLater
On opening

The morning brief

One card at the head of the day — what lines up, and one question to start on. Put it away and it waits beside the day’s title.

Below Now

Moments

Today’s meetings run below a Now line, with Wonder’s notes hung off the ones they’re about. Past moments fade.

While you write

The margin

Notes wait beside your writing, and come forward — joined to your line — when you reach their subject.

Once the day is done

Read back

A day you’ve finished gets a word or two circled and a line in the margin, in Wonder’s hand, when something’s worth saying.

Just before · Mac app

On the island

With the Mac app, ten minutes before a meeting its note appears at the top of your screen. Click, and you’re looking at it.

In the margins

Read back,
in pencil.

Once a day is done, Wonder reads it the way a thoughtful friend marks a page: a few words circled, a line in the margin, a small drawing of the thing itself. Two at most, and only where there’s something worth saying. Select any words to highlight them, or ask for a doodle of your own.

  • Annotations on finished days, never more than two a day
  • Select words to highlight them, or to have Wonder doodle them in the margin
  • Each drawing is made for what you wrote, kept, and yours to remove

Coffee with Ana by the canal. The October meetup has one speaking slot left and I keep not saying yes.

Sketched the roadmap on paper, simpler than any doc. The customer wants predictable, not new.

A surface of its own

Sun through leaves,
at the time of day.

Your writing stays on the page. Wonder’s notes sit on a surface of their own — soft patches of sun through leaves, lit by the hour. Low from the left at dawn, overhead at noon, amber at golden hour, moonlit at night. It moves only when the wind does.

Capture · coming with the Mac app

Keep the thought
before it goes.

With the Mac app, press Space anywhere and a quiet card drops from the top of the screen. Write, press Return, and it lands on your timeline. Close it halfway through a thought and it’s still there when you come back.

  • Markdown as you type — bold, lists, quotes
  • A soft cue when a thought is kept
  • Pause it when you need the screen to yourself

Context

Your day, set
beside your words.

Connect your calendar and it sits quietly above each day’s writing — how many meetings, how long, with whom. With the Mac app, connect Granola and each day also shows what it was about and what was promised in it. Today’s meetings run below Now instead, with Wonder’s notes hung off them.

  • Google Calendar, read-only, on the web — iCloud and Exchange too with the Mac app
  • Themes and action items from your Granola notes, with the Mac app
  • Choose exactly which calendars appear

Intentions

A promise,
kept in sight.

Type /intention and it stays in view until you’ve seen it through — then it’s kept on the record, struck through. Goals and wishes have a home too.

  • /intention — in view until it’s done (in the menu bar, on the Mac)
  • /goal — something to work towards
  • /wish — something you’d love to happen

Ask Claude about
your own work.

Connect Claude, ChatGPT or any app that speaks MCP, and it can look things up in your journal while you talk to it: what you decided, who you last met, what you meant to do this week. Copy one link from Wonder, add it to the app, and approve it.

  • Search, a day at a glance, your intentions and goals
  • It asks you before it saves anything

Gentle nudges

Just before
it matters.

With the Mac app, ten minutes before a meeting with a note, the island widens to show it — click, and it’s in front of you. And at a time you choose, one question asks what stood out. Both stay quiet while you’re paused, and neither nags twice.

Private by default

Your journal is
yours to read.

Encrypted before it leaves

Entries are encrypted in your browser, with a key only your devices hold, before they sync. We store the scrambled result and can’t read it. What we can read.

Connected only if you choose

Google Calendar is read by your browser, never by us. AI apps reach your journal only if you connect them, and only while Wonder is open. Disconnect either at any time.

Its notes, never your words

When you use Wonder’s notes, that day’s material passes through our server to Anthropic’s Claude and back, and is never kept. The notes sit on a surface of their own, each showing what it was drawn from. Turn them off and nothing is sent.

Questions

What does it run on?

Any up-to-date browser, on any computer. A Mac app follows, for macOS 14 Sonoma or later.

Do I need Granola or a calendar?

No. Wonder is a journal first. Your calendar (and Granola, with the Mac app) add context around your writing when you connect them, and the journal works exactly the same without them.

Where are my entries kept?

In your browser, and synced to your account encrypted, so they follow you to another browser. We can’t read them. You can export everything at any time.

What are Wonder’s notes?

A few suggestions each day — an opening, a moment to prepare for, a question, a pattern — drawn from your goals, wishes, intentions, calendar, Granola notes and writing. They appear in the morning brief, beside today’s meetings and in the margin, and each shows its sources.

What are the annotations and doodles?

Once a day is over, Wonder may circle a few of your words and write a short line beside them, with a small drawing — at most two a day, and often none. Select any words to highlight them, or choose Doodle and Wonder draws them in the margin beside your words, with a few words of its own. Each drawing is made for what you wrote, kept with your journal, and removed with a click.

Can I turn the notes off?

Yes. Settings → Wonder turns them off altogether, or just the morning brief, the Moments, the margin or the reminders before meetings. “Not for me” on any note keeps that kind away for a fortnight.

Can I use it with Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes. Turn on AI apps in Wonder, copy the link it shows, and add it as a connector in Claude, ChatGPT or any app that supports MCP. You approve each app and choose what it may do. It works while Wonder is open in a tab, and it asks you before saving anything to your journal.

Is there an iPhone app?

Not yet. Wonder works in any browser today, and a Mac app is on its way.
